I'm Laura. I'm a 20-something (can't say that for TOO much longer) wife and mom. I'm also a full time college student and artist, majoring in Fine Arts. I write about family and parenthood, plus size fashion, home decor, art, photography, food, faith and blogging.  I also often write about my struggles with anxiety and finding balance in a busy life.

I am passionate about fashion, and believing that no matter your shape or size, your clothes should reflect your inner beauty.  I share my outfits at least once a week, and I love checking out fashion blogs.   

I have two amazing children who crack me up and keep me on my toes. Magdalena was born in August of 2007, and Liam joined our family in December of 2009. I have been married to my love, Mark, since July 2006. Mark is a computer science major, he's sort of my polar opposite when it comes to academia. We're both students that have returned to college after a long break, so we live on a budget at all times. We live in a beautiful, smallish college town in Northern California.  My life is busy and filled to the brim with love, fun and creating beautiful moments.

I Love: Jesus. My family. Art. Food. Fashion. Shopping. Crafting. Books. Cocktails outside. Watching bad TV. Watching good TV. Cutting my own hair. Coffee. Dancing with my friends like I'm on Jersey Shore. Living in my small town. Geeking out over fantasy movies and books, video games and even the occasional role-playing game (the kind with dice and wizards and all that). Fantasizing about travel. Being generally awesome (at least in my own mind). 

I Don't Love: Fake crying. Keeping my house clean. Homework. Snobbery. Getting up early. Avocados.
