I'm Laura.
 I'm a wife and mom of two and an artist & crafter.
 I own an Etsy store, That Kind of Perfect, and I'm also a student,
pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts.

When I'm not doing one of those things, I write about family and parenthood, homesteading and green living, fashion, home decor, art, food and blogging. I love to share recipes, free printables, DIY projects, party ideas, stories, outfits and more.

 I have two amazing children who crack me up and keep me on my toes.
 Magdalena was born in August of 2007, and Liam joined our family in December of 2009. I
 have been married to my love, Mark, since July 2006, and we  have shared a home and our lives since 2003.

We live in a beautiful, smallish college town in Northern California. My life is busy, exciting and filled to the brim with love, fun and creating beautiful moments. And also, some not so beautiful moments, which I write about as well.

This was our  'wreck the dress ' photo shoot for our 5th anniversary in 2011.

I started this blog right after we got married, which means it is has been almost seven years. Crazy. Things have changed a lot over the years, which you will see if you ever delve into the archives over to the right.
