The Post In Which I Rhyme. A Lot.

What have I been up to, you say?

Well, this is how I spend my days:

Painting some paintings for fall,

 and then hanging them up on my wall.

Taking pictures of kitties napping in the sun,

 when really, I have homework to be done.

Speaking of homework, it keeps me up all night,

 so, without coffee, I don't function quite right.

Shopping with kids, and to keep them un-bored,

 they got to choose a baby pumpkin or gourd.

Being a mom and playing pretend,

 cherishing his littleness...does it have to end?

Lots of crafting and DIY,

 which is a lot of work, I won't lie.

Using Pinterest to update my food,

these crispy taters were awesome, Dude!

Hanging candy corn lights,

 they make the house so lovely at night!

Going on a quick jaunt for a day,

 the road trip was fun the whole way!

When we got there, we saw a play by Shakespeare,

live theater is even better with a beer!

My husband has unique taste, which I love,

these shoes fit his style like a glove.

And finally, taking pictures of my shrinking-but-still-huge tush,

because accountability really gives me a push!
