Bits and Pieces

- Magdalena turned five years old about a week and a half ago.  It has been so bittersweet to celebrate this milestone with her, and I have been looking at old pictures and videos all week.  I owe her a birthday letter, as I have written one to her every birthday!

-School is in full swing and our schedule is pretty insane now.  Mark and I both have tons of homework, and Mark is pretty much always in class. I am starting to dream about the days when we have both graduated!

-Our house has been given quite the makeover on the exterior lately, with a new roof, some new windows, and new paint.  It looks so good and I am close to being able to show a before and after!

-Obviously, I haven't been blogging a lot lately.  I have been taking pictures and doing projects, and I know I'll get around to posting the stuff someday.  I am really active on Pinterest, Instagram and Twitter if you want to follow what I'm doing!  My username is ThatKindofMom, if you're looking!

-I have been cooking and baking a lot, which has been so fun but has not helped me in my quest to shed some pounds. But...

-I'm taking a step aerobics class through my school and it has been amazing.  It has totally shown me how much I really do like working out, and my strength and stamina is already improving a lot.  I can tell my butt is going to look so good at the end of this, it is a seriously tough class.  I am just pouring sweat during the class, but it feels so good.  I am thinking I am going to start doing a couch to 5K program, too!  I feel like I am finally really doing something to change my lifestyle.  Now I just need to work on what I eat...

-I am already so excited for the holidays and I have been planning so many fun things.  And I am just done with the heat.  I am dreaming of fall and cooler weather.

-I recorded a Vlog the night before school started, and then I had problems uploading it for a few days, and then everything I said in it seemed outdated.  I was really happy with it, though, and I plan to do another one soon.  Some things are just easier to talk about then write about, ya know?

-Liam is a crazy, fun, ball of energy right now.  He runs everywhere, never stops talking and is just a silly goose.  I am having so much fun with him and I cannot believe his third birthday is already approaching. I feel like I am enjoying being a mom more than ever for some reason, and it is just so nice.

-And now I have Statistics homework to do.  It's not the ideal way to spend my Sunday afternoon, but I am very excited to tell you that it is the last math class I will ever have to take!
