Broken Computer...Fixed!

Our brand new, wonderful computer started acting crazy a couple of weeks ago, and Mark tried EVERYTHING to fix it. No go. So, finally, we caved and brought it back to PCI, in Chico, where Mark had it built. It was a hardware issue, not a software issue, so the only thing you can do is replace it. It is now back to us and up and running. I was seriously having technology withdrawals, LOL.
Expect more blogs soon!!

Napa Trip

Last Monday, I left to go on an overnight trip to Napa with my sister, Sarah. She had her son, Nathaniel, 8 days before Liam was born. About six weeks ago, her husband suggested we take a short trip together. Mark was just as enthusiastic that I get away, and Napa seemed like a great setting. Basically, we both like to eat and we both like to drink wine.
I left about an hour later than I meant to, which just added to the stress of the trip. I am a good driver, never been in an accident but I don't generally enjoy driving. I have driven only a handful of times in the last...six months. We only have one car in the family, so we are usually together when we go places. Anyways...I managed to get lost both on the way to Napa and in the actually town of Napa. I got there an hour before our pedicure appointment, which made lunch beforehand impossible. We did, however, have enough time to quickly share a bottle of wine and I pumped. Pumping was a theme to the trip, I probably had to do it six times while I was there.
We were a wee bit tipsy while we got our pedicure (which was wonderful) and the conversation flowed quickly and easily. After our hour long "tropical pedicure" we walked to lunch, both of us smudging our toenail polish in the process. But, they weren't really messed up, just enough to annoy me. We ate a delicious lunch at an awesome diner in downtown Napa. We just shared onion rings and chicken strips, but it was really yummy, especially with a corona.
We then spent the afternoon visiting tasting rooms in downtown Napa and enjoyed some really delicious wine. We got tired, walked to our hotel room at AVIA, and for some reason thought it would be smart to have a bottle of champagne. I will fully admit that my memory gets a tiny bit fuzzy at this point. I know the night included a drunk dial to both Mark and our older sister, and a dinner at a fancy Italian restaurant where we ordered girly martinis and hearty dinners (thank God). We ate every bite and had a lot of fun. We walked back to our hotel, watched TV, hung out in the bathroom (?) and laughed and cried together. It was absolutely awesome.
I woke up at 1:00 with an absolutely raging headache and a very upset stomach. I haven't drank like that in years. I don't plan to do it again for a long, long time, but it was a really amazing trip.
We got to really talk, mostly about being moms. It was so fun to relax with her and act...our age, I suppose.
I didn't take too many pictures, mostly because I just forgot. I tried to add some pictures, but it's not working for some reason. I'll try to post them tomorrow!

Happy 3 Month Birthday, Liam!

Yesterday, Liam turned three months old! He is growing so fast, and changing every day. He still eats A LOT, only takes a couple of cat naps during the day, and sleeps for about 12 hours every night. He wakes up after 5 or 6 hours, eats, and goes back to bed for another 5 or 6 hours. It's pretty awesome, I must say.

He is a talker! He is constantly chatting with us, cooing, giggling and squeaking. It is so adorable! He has definitely discovered his hands and feet. He loves sucking on his hand and looking at his feet. His neck is getting really strong and he can hold his head up really well. He hasn't rolled over yet, although he is starting to try.

I am so in love with my little guy. He is so sweet, and just so easy going. He loves to nurse for hours at night before bed, and it is one of my favorite times of the day. Maggie is asleep, we're using watching a movie or a show, and Liam is snuggled up to me. He falls in and out of sleep, and eventually we put him down to sleep on his own.
It was so hard to leave him for a night when I went to Napa on Monday. But, I had an awesome time. Tomorrow, I will post pictures and tell you all about my fun trip!

Me and my sister, Sarah, are leaving our sweet baby boys with their daddies for one night and meeting up in Napa for a day full of pampering, eating, shopping and enjoying wine...and a night full of sleep, both us of in our own king sized beds. I am beyond excited, although I am also sad to leave my snuggle bugs. Especially Liam! But, I know we are going to have so much fun!

Beans

I can't eat them anymore. I cut them out and Liam's painful gas at night went away. He used to cry for hours and was in noticeable pain. I think I used to eat a lot of beans, without realizing it. I miss them.
I thought you all should know.

I just bought...

a pair of classic Ray Ban Wayfarer sunglasses. My first ever pair of "grown up" sunglasses that didn't come from Target, and didn't cost $14.99.

And that makes me very, very happy! And I got them for a great price on ebay.
