We were at Costco today and I decided I wanted some flowers. I usually buy them at the farmer's market, but we didn't go this morning because it was raining. I almost got one of the $14.99 holiday bouquets, but I decided to be a little more sensible and get a $8.99 bouquet. I decided to let Maggie pick the flowers, and of course she picked the hot pink ones that I was avoiding. I bought them anyway, and arranged them in a glass milk bottle I had laying around. Last year, I dropped one of these on my foot and it was a DISASTER.
I'm thankful that I gave her the opportunity to choose something that would decorate our house. She picked something I would never pick out, but it has brought a smile to my face every time I've looked at these flower. She was so excited and loved the finished product. The bouquet was big enough for two arrangements, which is a bonus.
I'm pretty happy with the end result. I also added a picture of my kitchen sink in the middle of doing a humugoid pile of dishes. Just in case you wondered where you can find me...way too often. Once again, I apologize for the picture quality. I have been taking almost all of my pictures on my cell phone lately. My camera bit the dust a few weeks ago and I am hoping for a new one for Christmas.
