29 1/2 Weeks

So, my stomach is officially very large and round. When did this happen?! I got dressed this morning, looked in the mirror, and my jaw dropped. Seriously, my stomach has changed a lot in the last week. I used to be afraid of people just thinking I was really fat, but now I know a person would have to be pretty dense to miss this belly. It's crazy for me to not look anything like the way I used to. I like the way I look, I think it's fun and cute to have a big round belly. But, that belly is starting to make things...different. I have had a totally blessed pregnancy, and nothing really to complain about. Yeah, a little morning sickness, but that was broken off me in Jesus' name at an Encounter. But, it has been pretty darn easy for me to get through these seven months. But, anyways, I feel really pregnant now. It's hard to get comfortable in bed, it's hard to get out of bed or chairs, and I have to pee all the time. I hate that the most! Now, i always have to go the bathroom in the middle of the service at church...gone are the days when I could sit through the two hours without having to pee. Also, as September gets closer and closer, I have been hit with the reality of what is about to happen. I'm going to be a mom. I'm going to have a daughter and my husband will be a father. Whoa! It is such a blessing! I can't wait to experience everything with this little girl. I just can't wait to meet her and see her. I am so excited about meeting this incredible girl who I KNOW will be a history maker and a mighty woman of God. And I bet she'll be really cute, too!!! So, I kept going back and forth on whether or not I would share our daughter's name with the blogging world before she was born. I decided I might as well share it with you guys, because I love it! And we have already decided on it, so too bad if you don't like it :) Her name will be Magdalena Ruth. She is named after Mary Magdalene, who is my favorite woman of the Bible. We love the full name and will introduce her as Magdalena, but we also plan to use nicknames, like Maggie and Lena. I love her name and it makes me even more excited for her to get here!

Leave earlier than you would think you would need to. The worst thing ever is trying to set up camp and having to race the sun.

Nope. Not anymore. I think I can say with confidence that I aim to be a good influence to everyone I come in contact with. Not that I'm perfect, but it is definitely a goal!

Well, I can't drink it now..too much caffeine. I don't know if I've ever had one. It doesn't sound too good.

I don't mind my name at all. And all of the girls in my family have simple, traditional names (Laura, Michelle and Sarah)...not too much of a difference in my opinion.

No, I wouldn't do ANYTHING, because there are a lot of bad things out there to do. But, if someone needed something, I would try as hard as I could to help them.

Trying to Catch Up

I seriously cannot get back into blogging. I am trying. But it's hard. Sorry. Okay, lots of new stuff to share. Well, here's something important: Mark is no longer working for the carpet cleaning company. He was working crazy, crazy hours and they were not caring about their employees at all. On our way to the Encounter a few weeks ago, they tried to call him in for an all-nighter (after he had already worked 10 hours) and he refused because he HAD to go out of town for the encounter. It was basically a choice between God and his job. I am so grateful that I married a man who has enough faith in God to not even have to think about this decision. They ended up firing him the next Monday because of this, but I couldn't be more proud! Now, he's looking for an even better job and working for my Dad in between. And no worries, we are doing just fine...my dad pays well...haha. So, the baby is doing great, although after I took my 1 hour glucose test, I had elevated levels and I have to do the 3 hour test this week to determine if I have gestational diabetes. Yuck. I'm not worried about it if I do, I just don't want to do the stupid 3 hour test. Oh, well. I have another ultrasound on July 3rd and I am so excited to see this little girl again! I'll be 31 weeks by then, so we should be able to really see her facial features and everything. This pregnancy has gone by SO fast and I know she will be here so soon. We have been pretty busy, house sitting for my mom and travelling to see my sister and my brother in law. My oldest sister, Michelle, is going to be here for a visit in a few weeks and I am so excited to see her and my niece again. What else has happened? We had a BBQ for our cell groups last Monday and it was SOOO fun! Mark and I hosted it at my Mom's house and there was probably about 25-30 people there. Mark did all the grilling and I bounced around, making sure everyone was having a good time. I made some new friends, too! All in all, life is good and I am really hopeful about Mark finding an amazing job soon. I'm starting to feel very pregnant and it is hard to get in and out of bed. Also, I have been peeing SO much, it's crazy! I just want this baby now, but I am trying to be patient. It will come soon enough, I know! Here's some random pictures from the last few weeks:
