The first Sunday of fall...

Today was a great day. Church was awesome, as usual. I love my church so much. They make my walk so much easier. If I am feeling down, or I feeling discouraged, all I have to do is see my church family and I remember what it's all about. We can't do it alone. We're all learning, and all striving to improve and live lives of freedom and joy. I had an amazing day at my School of Leaders class, and I feel like I really got some deliverence from things that have been totally hindering me, my marriage and my relationship with God. Also, the weather seemed to change as soon it became October, which is funny to me. Our Saturday was awesome, too! WE went shopping and had fun all day. Mark and I went to Wal-Mart last night at around 11:00 (He was out at a movie with his younger cousin until then) and we had a great time buying fun stuff like a new comforter, some throw pillows, a blanket, and other stuff. Mark also bought some tools and some huge kneepads for his work cleaning carpets. Earlier in the day, we went to a birthday party for Mark's cousins Jake and Mara. It was fun, and my in-laws were wonderful as always. Mark and I also went to Tortilla Flats for dinner where I had amazing Baja fish tacos and a yummy strawberry margarita. So, now the weekend is gone...but another one is just around the corner, right?

I too agree the first day of October was wonderous. It was a cozy morning that turned into a gentle, rainy day. We drove to Sacramento and had a fabuluos dinner in the evening. Later we attended the Flogging Molly concert at Sac State. We are enjoying our break! We look forward to seeing you guys this weekend.
